Guest guest
Yes, some people here on the group have good results with Natural Thyroid (NT) + T3. What needs to be monitored is the RT3 level...is it staying good and low, or is addition of T4 causing it to rise? Temperatures will also tell, if they start to drop, it's likely the RT3 is rising. This varies from person to person. I can't take ANYTHING containing T4, it turns straight into RT3 immediately. But this isn't true for everyone, as I said, there are people who do well on the NT + T3 combo. I suspect it depends partly on how bad one's ratio is in the first place. A person with a starting ratio of 5 is more likely to need T3-only for good. A person with a starting ratio of 18 may do well on the combo. This is just my observation, I have no studies to back it up. There is a popular myth among doctors that we NEED T4. This is outdated information. We do not need T4.
