Hi -

It definitely wouldn't hurt to get an eval from a PT. If your

daughter has tort, it should be treated sooner rather than later

(from what I've heard, the older they are, the longer it could take

to treat). My son was in PT for 2 months, from 2.5-4.5 months old. I

believe that PT was extremely important in correcting his tort, I

don't think it would have corrected on its own with basic

repositioning. He didn't like the exercises very much at first

because his neck was obviously tight, but he got used to them

eventually and it wasn't so bad. In the end, it was the best thing I

could have done for him, so that little bit of guilt I felt at

making him cry was well worth it.

Thanks! I think I will see a PT for a second opinion before I do

those exercises with her for a year!
