Thanks for the replies!

Val - unfortunately I live in Korea, and I couldn't find epsom salts anywhere!!

So I just took 500mg Mag, but it didn't seem to help at all!

Pam - that's exactly how I feel!! Thanks for sharing! Did you ever find out what

it was?

Well, I had the most awful night ever, didn't even get an hours sleep and I feel

like death. My temp when I " woke up " this morning was 37 and my heart beat was

over 100. I have now cut my 12.5mcg dose to 6.25mcg and I'm going to do the same

with my lunch time dose and I'm going to skip my bedtime dose - so I'm going

from 31.25mcg a day to 12.5mcg today just to try get this heart pounding/racing

to go away! If it's gone by tomorrow, I'll go back to my 12.5mcg dose twice a

day where I didn't seem to have any problems. Is this ok?

Val - do you still think this is low Magnesium? What else could it be?! I still

feel so damn tired though (but that might be the lack of sleep!). But surely

because my heart rate is being affected, that this is not adrenal? i.e. the T3

IS getting to my cells? Could I be high cortisol?

Thanks!

to be racing - it is around 96 beats a minute and POUNDING, and goes up to like

106 at the slightest stress. I just stood up and felt like my heart was going to

beat out of my chest! Very scary! I also just took my temp, and it's up to 37.4

(usually around 37.1 - I am post-ovulation). It seems whenever I get the

slightest bit stressed, my heart pounding gets even worse and races, and my temp

goes up and I start sweating. I did the salt water test and it didn't work.

pounding and heart beat.. A LOT! So I am guessing then I must need a raise, but

could this mean I have TOO much T3? I will be taking my next dose in an hour -

should I even take it? I am so worried? What if all this time, my T4 isn't

actually being depressed? How would I know?

thus I am worried if my T3 is actually too high?? But I still feel quite tired -

I thought hyper meant I was suposed to have more energy? I haven't been sleeping

well as night at all anymore since starting T3. Maybe I am hyper, but I'm just

tired from not sleeping?

range being 5.7 so it proved it was too much T3. I have now cut back from 45

mcg T3 to 37.5 and the heart pounding/racing has gone except for the occasional

awareness of the heart in bed so its a lot better and I have put back a couple

of pounds.

Hi there,

Thanks so much for the reply! I had electrolytes done a couple weeks before I

started T3 12 days ago.

Potassium 4.2 (3.5 to 5.1)

Sodium 141 (136-151)

Aldosterone 70 (40-310)

Val said my aldosterone is on the low-side, but because I can't get Florinef,

she suggested licorice, which I have been on since and have not had any probs

with BP (I did once though and had to stop and restart).

I seem to be feeling much better now thatI only took 6.25mcg T3 this morning -

my heart rate is down to 84-90 even with moving around and its not pounding

nearly as much and I seem to have a bit more energy. So I'm going to stick with

this dose for a few days and then try go back to the 12.5mcg twice a day and see

how I go. Do you think this is ok?

What is the lowest dose of T3 I can be on to still clear Rt3 in 12 weeks or so?!

Thanks!
