Guest guest
When I started HC I too felt worse for the first couple of days. It past away after my body got used to the medication and a week later some improvment was finally showing. Also - my doc prescribed my with 2.5 HC which made me very sick. Only starting on a high dose as recommended in the site did the trick and got me to feel better for a stable period of time. > > > > hello again > > i have an RT3 ratio of 8.7 from blood tests in january and confirmed by val. > > salivary cortisol has always been low for 10 years. tried a trial of HC and didn't get past the first day as it worsened my symptoms. a subsequent blood test showed i had high cortisol and i shouldn't have taken HC. > > the whole experience frightened me and gave up thinking about it for a few months. > > recent thyroid tests showed T3 below the range and TSH of 10 and i was feeling depressed. > > a doctor gave me beta blockers for the anxiety i was feeling and again i felt worse and didn't get past the first day. > > > > the question is if i do have normal to high blood cortisol is it ok to go T3 only, my private GP is coming round to the idea after 7 years of taking T3 and only gaining some relief from the mental symptoms. > > many thanks > > jonny > > >
