Guest guest
my daughters doctor recommended doing some heavy metal testing to see if it could be the cause of her thyroid disease on some level?? does anyone know where we can get that done (other than through doctor) and how reliable it is? Guest guest
There are labs that do hair analysis for mercury. You send them hair cut from the nape of your neck. I had mercury poisening back years ago and had all the amalgam removed and replaced with composite. The way we discovered that I was toxic is that a biochemist/ND I was seeing asked me to retrace what I had done the past few months that might cause me to feel bad. Well I had had several mercury fillings placed. The hair analysis actually showed "low mercury", which told him that since we knew I had mercury in my mouth, I was retaining it. I also stopped sweating, had extreme fatigue, depression, food intolerances to anything "white", caffeine, etc. It took several rounds of DMSA, colon cleanses, natural garlic, etc. to help chelate this mercury and flush it out, and it has a half life of 25 years. I'm sure I still have some! Good wishes to you and your daughter!
