OK - first a confession - we were not the best parents about doing

exercises because 1) she resisted so much and 2) after she started

sitting up, she slept turning on both left and right sides.

That said - her head is great but now I'm noticing we still have a

right tilt.

I've noticed some of you saw a PT for tort and I'm wondering if we

should get an evaluation. CT never told us to - and encouraged us to

continue exercises post helmet but where does it end? Also, I don't

want to hold her down and make her cry unneccessarily.

Any advice you can give is welcomed :) :)

Dallas

Daughter wore helmet from 12-17 to 1-30 - she is 6.5 mos. old

Do you mean tort exercises? I have been told that even after the tort is resolved you may see a bit of regression when they reach milestones, like sitting up and walking. I've heard the same thing as Kami. CT told us to do the exercises

until 18 months (which I didn't do because our ped. and us NEVER saw

the tilt or lack of ROM and our son hated the stretches). If there

is still tort, then I would ask for an evaluation by a PT. A PT

might be able to give you some " funner " ways to stretch the neck

muscles than holding her down.

Yep, That is what they told me today, 18 months if there was any tilt. She also said that the streches will help with the ear assymatry. My little one loves to have zerberts blowen in his neck when I do his streches ;0) Kamilka_236 <lka_236@...> wrote: I've heard the same thing as Kami.
