Guest guest
Thanks Nick, " daily average temperatures " seem to be O.K., quite stable and highish, but basals vary a lot (more than " daily average temps " ) and that confuses me. My temps have never been really low, so it is quite a subtle change I have to monitor and that makes things more difficult. > > >Since I am trying to optimize T3 dose after clearance, this confuses me quite a bit because I wonder: which " hour " will give the best reading to use as a reference for optimizing T3 dose? > > > > You can also use the " 3 temperatuers averaged " as a marker for correct > dosing with a pre-ovulation target of 98.6 average > > Nick > > -- > > for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to > > www.thyroid-rt3.com >
Guest guest
I notice this, too, . My basals are much lower if I have to get up, say, a couple hours early one day for whatever reason. This makes me think back to the stupid doc who once told me you could take basals anytime during the night. Yeah, you could, but you wouldn't get very accurate results!!! So I'm glad you asked this question of Nick. Kathleen > > Lately I am noticing my basal temps change quite a lot depending of the hour I wake up (I believe this is a generally accepted fact). Since I am feeling generally better I am waking up a little earlier lately and then my basals are lower. Sometimes I have to wake up very early because of my work (and usually this means little sleep) and then my basals are very low. > > Since I am trying to optimize T3 dose after clearance, this confuses me quite a bit because I wonder: which " hour " will give the best reading to use as a reference for optimizing T3 dose? > > Thanks, > >

Guest guest
What is your daily average and how do you feel? I am trying to get my basals up, but my daily average is pretty close to normal. I also notice the same thing-wake up early, generally lower basal, sleep a little later and its usually .4-.5 degrees higher. I sometimes take sleep aids that seem to lower basals, but I feel better because I slept better-?
