Guest guest
>QUESTION: I see it states not to take ferritin near thyroid meds, so I have read it should be taken 1-2 hours after or 4 hours before? You can take T3 sublingually, crunch it up and let it dissolve under your tongue for 15 mins, that way there is no interactions with other meds as they don't meet in the stomach > >So the only window would be 5pm is that OK? >What is the normal starting dosage of ferus Sulphate? >Will this help me tollerate T3 better as I have a real problem with increasing my dosage? The suggestion is to start at 50ish and then step up at weekly intervals or so. Taking iron with Vitamin C can help absorption. The recommended target dose is 150 to 200 a day split in 2 doses. It can help you a lot in tolerating a T3 increase Nick -- for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to www.thyroid-rt3.com
Guest guest
Thanks Nick - What Iron supplement is best? (I am in the UK BTW) when would you suggest getting my ferritin level re run after starting the Iron supplement. Also do I have to stay on a maintenance dose of Iron once the levels are up. Apologies for all of the questions but I am new to this Thanks Ria ----------------------------------------------------------------- The suggestion is to start at 50ish and then step up at weekly intervals or so.
