Anyone ever feel like your child looks fine and want to quit?

My son has been in the helmet for 3 months now and the change is

dramatic. He went for his 3 month appt. today and they said there was

no change from last month. I thought for sure that he had had a growth

spurt this past month and that he would be able to take it off. Last

months measurement of 6mm difference seems so close to being able to

take the helemt off (less than 5mm needed). We think he looks great.

I'm worried if we do take off then he might have problems that we could

have avoided by keeping it on but I'm also ready to be done with this.

Has anyone taken their childs helmet off without the recommendation of

their orthotist?
