Guest guest
Do your iron levels come up alot quicker this way and how fast? I mean how far into should you get another ferritin level done? I am also interested in doing it this way as opposed to pill form since I have enough GI problems. Thanks, Christie > > > > I have insurance and a fairly open minded DO, but visits are not covered, some treatments and labs are partially covered if at all. > > > > Wondering if there is a way to do this on my own. > > > > Read a post here where someone bought the vials at costco and went to a clinic to get the iv. Guest guest
I know that if you have too much iron in the blood the only way to remove it is give blood. That happened to me one time. Now I didn't get my iron levels done only my Ferritin so I'm not sure if I should wait to see what my blood levels are before I get the IV's even though my ferritin is 31. Can my blood levels be high and I'm having a problem storing it. Can that be possible? Guest guest
I recently had my iron/ferritin tested. It had been a month since my iron infusion. After one infusion my ferritin went from 8 to 126!!! Needless to say I believe infusions are the way to go. > > > > > > > > I have insurance and a fairly open minded DO, but visits are not covered, some treatments and labs are partially covered if at all. > > > > > > > > Wondering if there is a way to do this on my own. > > > > > > > > Read a post here where someone bought the vials at costco and went to a clinic to get the iv.
