Guest guest
>what would be a good regimen to start t3 only from a position of 100 mcg thyroxine & 3/4 gr armour, and how should i build it up? 3/4 grain is about 7 of T3 so next to nothing. > >rt3 ratio of 8.7 >male, hashi's, 13 stone. >ferritin is good and i suspect cortisol is now ok. >i would take loithyronine in 20mcg tablets, or divided. unless it is best to get some cytomel. divided 20s would be fine, not sire how strong it will work out or if your Dr will let you have enough to do any good. I would order some Cynomel as well so you won't feel rationed and can take enough. I wrote this about dosing when I put the site together in the autumn http://thyroid-rt3.com/dosing.htm and a lot of people have successfully used it since so it seems to hang together Nick -- for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to www.thyroid-rt3.com >help much appreciated, hope to start within the next few weeks. >jonny
Guest guest
You should probabyl get a full iron panel just to rule out issues that may cause problems wiht the T3. Ferritin alone we have found ot not be reliable way to insur iron sufficiency. -- http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/
Guest guest
did not sleep well on tuesday night and felt really stressed. have gone back to 100mcg t4 and 3/4 gr armour, my body just feels so stressed and don't think i could handle the dose changes. will have to think again. one of my adrenals showed up enlarged on an ultrasound, an endo tested for pheochromocytoma and was negative, is there anything else i should be looking for? i do have ratio of 8.7, but no physical symptoms, just really bad mental ones, do you think rt3 is causing this? have people in the past got over the mental symptoms with t3 only? jonny > > > > what would be a good regimen to start t3 only from a position of 100 mcg thyroxine & 3/4 gr armour, and how should i build it up? > > > > rt3 ratio of 8.7 > > male, hashi's, 13 stone. > > ferritin is good and i suspect cortisol is now ok. > > i would take loithyronine in 20mcg tablets, or divided. unless it is best to get some cytomel. > > help much appreciated, hope to start within the next few weeks. > > jonny > > >
