Many here have had good results with Bluebonnet iron, don't know if it's

available in the UK, but worth checking for, maybe order on the internet if no

local store has it?

I believe the primary benefit of the bluebonnet is that it is iron bisglycinate;

so even if that particular brand isn't available in the UK, another iron

bisglycinate may be.

The usual dose recommendation here is 150-200 mg elemental iron a day, divided

into two doses (it is better absorbed that way).
