Guest guest
I'm thankful that I can do good deeds in my own way, I do them for their own sake, not so that people will notice them. I'm thankful for my family and friends who support me whether they agree with me or not. I'm thankful for all the dogs and cats in my life who've given me so much joy and comfort over the years. I'm thankful for the time I had, however short, with those who are now gone and for the time I will have with those who are still here. I'm thankful for the rescue dogs who bloom and grow strong and happy before my eyes, I'm especially thankful to be able to make a difference in their sad lives. I'm thankful for my job that let's me fulfill my need to spend as much time as I can with animals -- some who need comfort and help and sensitivity -- they accept it so much more graciously than people do. I'm thankful that I get up each morning excited about my day and my job and my life. I'm thankful that I'm alive, lots of people are not and lots of people have lost someone this year. And mostly, I'm thankful for my faith. If it weren't for His grace I would not know to be thankful. Please have a happy and safe Thanksgiving Day. In the grand scheme of things all of us have a great deal to be thankful for, let's try to show each other that compassion as we proceed, thankful for each other and for ALL of our differing opinions and especially for our freedom to express them as ideas, not as personal criticisms.
