Guest guest
I noticed a major improvement on Florinef actually. My mood was immediately better, less fatigue, ringing ears improved, no more headeaches, once I got to around 3/4 tab my hair/skin started to improve. I am now on 1 1/4 tab and feel pretty good salt wise. I started taking progesterone, estrogen, and testosterone cream which seemed to help a lot as well since aldosterone is made from progesterone from my understanding. All three were very low for me. Have you had them tested? Florinef is a strong drug though and can really disrupt other things like sex hormones and potassium balance. I have been tested for Aldosterone and it was 2. I have been taking some licorice that is in Fatigued to Fantastic. Helps some and my iron helps too. Just wondering what you noticed once you were on it. I am not taking any cortisol, just Adrenal Rebuilder. Thanks, Rhionda Joan, Sea salt is very good. You want an unrefined salt like the celtic grey sea salt http://www.amazon. com/Celtic- Sea-Salt% C2%AE-Brand- Celtic%C2% AE/dp/B000TIZP5I /ref=sr_1_ 5?ie=UTF8 & s=grocery & qid=1275586221 & sr=8-5 I take salt water all day, I was needing 4-5 teaspoons a day but now seem ok with 3-4. My sodium was 138 and I had horrible low sodium symptoms. I need to get my electrolytes retested so not sure what they are now but last check was 142. I think you want sodium around 142-143. I would start with 1/2 teaspoon of salt in water a few times a day and see how you feel. Aldosterone is a seporate test. You have to salt fast for it. http://faqhelp. webs.com/ aldosteroneandre nin.htm If your aldosterone is very low you will likely need florinef to get it up, no amount of salt worked for me just gave me diarrhea! kitty

Guest guest
Hi Kitty, I have had the androgens tested and I was almost nothing for testosterone and have been on over a year. Have added bioesrogen - think that is what its called my peogesterone is high but doc doesn't want to give estrogen without progesterone? So, I am low in all. I think my sodium is right around 139 on the 135 to something and potassium was 4.5 range to 5 something. Aldosterone was 2 and renin was fine. I don't have the urge to pee though. I sweat good amnd occassionally feel light headed. The lights really use to bug me. There was no way I could look at the sun. A little better now.
