Guest guest
My son had a helmet for 3 months last fall. He had flatness on one side, some bossing on the forehead and assymetry (one ear pushed more foward than the other). His results were very good. BCBS / Empire even paid 100% ($2500)! My son recently started daycare. He 15 mos old but gets dropped off in the infant room in the morning. There are a couple infants that could definitely benefit having a helmet. They seem even more severe than my son and my niece who both had helmets. I can't think of a nice way of mentioning this without offending someone. I don't think telling the teacher would help get these children helmets - although she really should be diligent about getting them off their backs. (I'm only there for a minute so I really don't know how much they are on their back.) I realize that it is pretty tramatic/offensive to be told that your baby is not perfect. I don't even know who these parents are. I guess I should probably justlet it go and hope for the best for these babies? Just curious if there was anyone out with who had a similar situtation.
