Labs don't make sense for son?

I received the lab results for my son. I was unable to get a 24 hr urine sample,

the Dr would only do one cortisol test and if it was out of range would then do

another. I went ahead and ordered a cortisol 4x saliva test that will be back in

10 days.

We are still waiting for the antibodies test results

TSH .78 Range .49 - 4.67

Free T4 .93 Range .78 - 2.19

Free T3 4.4 Range 2.0 - 4.4

RT3 17 Range 11 - 32

Evening Cortisol 3.5 Range 2 - 9

Total T4 6.3 Range 4.5-12.5

Total T3 145 Range 80-200

I am totally confused. The low TSH and high FT3 would indicate hyperthyroid, but

I read hyperthyroid would have a high FT4 not a low FT4? So, is he hypo or

hyper?

I guess we need to consider the RT3 with the FT3 as my understanding is if their

is a lot of RT3 then that means he really doesn't have much active FT3 despite

the test result being on the higher side.

Would someone be willing to help me figure out his RT3 FT3 calculation?

Thanks in advance :)

Phoebe
