Guest guest
Ok now I'm worried. Is air hunger common for hypothyroid, or not? As someone said, is Lyme disease what I have to worry about now? This is going to SO depress me! I'm so hoping the Cytomel will clear the air hunger symptoms! Help, Val!
Guest guest
Air hunger is VERY common in hypothyroidism. It is caused by lack of oxygen in the cells as your respiration is slower and heart ois slower and thus you are not pumping enough oxygen to the body. -- http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/
Guest guest
Does it feel like you need to yawn a lot, and can't get to the bottom of your breath, and then when you lie down and relax, it's better? My oxygen sats are always up in the mid to high 90's! Do you mean that "cellular" oxygen is not available, even though my lungs are filling up? This distresses me, because Lymes is hard to treat, is it not? Subject: Re: Lyme and Air Hunger...Help Val!To: RT3_T3 Date: Sunday, June 6, 2010, 1:05 AM Air hunger is VERY common in hypothyroidism. Guest guest
I hate air hunger. I've had it off and on over the years, I think it's more prevalent, when I'm hypo.----- Re: Lyme and Air Hunger...Help Val!To: RT3_T3 Date: Sunday, June 6, 2010, 1:05 AM Air hunger is VERY common in hypothyroidism. Guest guest
Did you have it ongoing for months at a time, mountainpass? And what would make it go away? This is so frustrating for me because I want to DO things with my family and be productive again! Tell me what yours felt like, please! Guest guest
This certainly rings a bell... I have low oxygen sat and my specialist (for ME/CFIDS) has me on oxygen 5 l/min for 4 hours/day. But NEVER has there been any mention that it could be related to my thyroid problem. As a matter of fact, a lot of my fellow ME-patients have been put on oxygen! > > > > Subject: Re: Lyme and Air Hunger...Help Val! > To: RT3_T3 > Date: Sunday, June 6, 2010, 1:05 AM > > > Â > > > > Air hunger is VERY common in hypothyroidism.
