Guest guest
Your RT3 test result may go down very quickly...but early tests are not accurate, as there is still RT3 blocking the receptors, and there is no test for that. It usually takes about 12 weeks for the receptors to clear; so RT3 tests are not particularly useful before then. I may have missed your earlier posts, have you checked that your adrenals and ferritin are in good order to start T3? Nick's page on adrenals & temperature stability http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/adrenals.htm And Nick's reference to ferritin: " 50 or over " http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/dosing.htm This page also has great info on the gradual T3 increase procedure. > > > > This might be shallow, but has anyone else lost weight when taking the Cytomel for Reverse T3? I start tomorrow. I have gained 30 lbs this past year and a half. I want to feel better, but have to admit, I would LOVE to lose some of this weight. > > > > Robyn > > >
