We were told to keep Jenna's band off with any fever. I hope your son is feeling better very soon.

My DS is sick w/a fever & bad nose & chest congestion. We decided to take his band off, since he was hot already from the fever. I think I'll put it back on when his fever continues to stay down. Anyone else have a sick baby & what did you do about the band...if your child has a fever?

The instructions we got from Orthomerica, maker of the STARband, when my son

got his band was to keep the band off if he had a high fever or flu. Once

his temp was back to normal we put it back on.

My son had a ear infection recently and then rosiola (sp?) right after. I kept

his band off for almost 3 days. He had a fever and was just miserable. He does

so good in the band I didn't want him to start fighting with it now. We still

have 7 weeks to go. I told the tech and she said just put the padding back in

the band to keep its shape and when the fever goes down put it back on. Hope
