Well, I have narrowed my doc decision down to 2 on the West Coast:

Dr. Camilleri, D.O., @ Holtorf's clinic in City, CA

Dr. Romeo no, M.D., in Monterey, CA

I'm having a tough time narrowing it down to whom to see first, as I'm told

both are the top docs in these areas and each seem to have their pros and cons.

Any input out there would be hugely appreciated!

I have heard that no focuses primarily on males which is good for me (I am

male, 50), but I haven't heard how he addresses elevated RT3 and " believes " in

using T4 in cases in which there are possible underlying non-thyroid illness

issues that need treatment first which is why he feels NDT meds like Armour make

some feel worse. Here's are some EXCELLENT and in-depth posts on his forum

regarding this:

http://www.definitivemind.com/forums/showthread.php?t=85 & highlight=naturethroid

Since I recently tested for an elevated RT3 and TSH, this concerns me.

http://www.definitivemind.com/forums/showthread.php?t=209 & highlight=synthroid

From what I've read on forums on Camilleri, he seems to have a good

understanding treating high RT3; I just don't know his experience in dealing

with males.

Well, I have narrowed my doc decision down to 2

on the West Coast:

I am an old fogey and female to boot ....but....

something this important to your life and

living..should not be taken lightly.

When I needed a special kind of surgery that no one

else in the USA was capable of doing except a special

CUTTING_EDGE laser spine clinic .....3600 miles

away..I bit the bullet and flew there....TWO

different times.

perhaps you'd be better off...getting FIRST a

doctor...anywhere in the USA.. who is known to be

" the best " ....or close as one can get....to this

subject......for your first visit...to get things

started on the right road...and then .....ask

him/her? .....which of the two you mentioned

......would be the most favorable to take over your case?.

Dr. Camilleri, D.O., @ Holtorf's clinic in
