Guest guest
I've been on T3 only for about 6 weeks. Was taking 75mcg T3 at time of labs. (But about half that early in the day, the day before the lab draw, and none before the fasting lab draw.) Also 50mg HC and 52mg Iron. FT4: 0.3 ng/dL (0.8-1.8) FT3: 299 (230-420) RT3: <3 (11 - 32) I've developed an irregular heartbeat since taking T3 only, as well as hot sweats. Temps are high; 98.8 yesterday at 10:30 am. but either my temps are still unstable, or I need a new thermometer. I've been feeling like I'm on too much caffeine (I don't use caffeine), which I know is a sign of too much T3, but I have so much energy!!! I'm not used to that, and I've been revelling in it! Nurse Practitioner at my doc's practice says ratio of RT3 to T3 is too low, to cut back from 75 to 68.75. Does that sound right to you? Should I cut back lower? 62.5?? Is it possible to clear RT3 that soon? Or is my dose just too high? The free T3 is in the middle of the lab range, rather than the high end. Other than that, I'm feeling better than I can ever remember; I love that I have energy and can walk and stand without pain. I know the cortisol is helping a lot with that. Thanks so much for your guidance; I don't know how we'd do this without you guys.
