Guest guest
This is what I am finding too. The spirit is willing but the flesh was weak Hensley <>< 8-) I think the negative thought patterns are from the hashimoto's and not what is causing it. When you get proper treatment for your thyroid and adrenals, the negative thoughts will go away. They have for me. Joann
Guest guest
I read that Hashimoto's is the most common thyroid problems. My personal experience does not show that. I am wondering about members of this forum if that is true. Betty

Guest guest
Thanks. Are you all diabetic or can a non diabetic have it too? Maybe I will hear from those who don't. I have Hashis. Guest guest
it's my understanding that hashimoto's is an auto-immune disease where the body attacks one or more of its own glands or organs in error....thinking that it is " the enemy " like a germ. I had it (diagnosed) a very long time ago but I do not have diabetes -- Hashimoto's Date: Sun, 13 Jun 2010 15:27:10 -0500 I read that Hashimoto's is the most common  thyroid problems.  My personal experience does not show that.  I am wondering about members of this forum if that is true. Guest guest
That is interesting. I guess I was just thinking diabetes. I know it is an auto-immune system problem. I test positive for almost all I have been tested for. I get my test results Tuesday. I still don't know practically how it is different from non Hashis.  it's my understanding that hashimoto's is an auto-immune disease where the body attacks one or more of its own glands or organs in error....thinking that it is "the enemy" like a germ. Guest guest
I've had Hashimoto's for over 15 years & it's been a constant struggle, particularly now that I'm dealing with menopause and more hormonal fluctuations. Specifically, although my TSH is currently "normal" my T 4 is low, and I have extreme fatigue, depression, & uncharacteristic lack of motivation. Sent from my iPhone That is interesting. Guest guest
Hashimotos is when white cells attack thyroid gland; yes it's autoimmune & higher risk of diabetes (body attacks pancreas) but one doesn't necessarily mean you have the other.
