Guest guest
My son has asthma and has been having many problems. I was reading about the asthma medication he is on, daily inhaler and nasal spray and they both have Corticosteroid. The medications state the side effects that my son is having and that they can be related to adrenal problems. I made an appointment with the allergist and asked him to test his adrenal's. He said the medications contain a " blanket statement " for Corticosteroid, however the amount he is taking is not enough to cause adrenal problems. He is taking the recommended amount from the medication manufacturer's. It seems odd that they would be required to put a warning about adrenal problems on medication if that wasn't an actual concern?
