Guest guest
hey:) not sure but doesnt the super-low tsh indicate some problems with utilization of t3? i believe a red-flag is below .01. here are some links to previous threads touching on the issue... http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/message/28823 http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/message/39788 i also recently had new thyroid labs done and my tsh was .005, while my t3 level was only 4.7... not high enough to cause that low of a tsh. i know your t3 level is higher, but is it high enough for that low of a tsh? i feel ok for the most part, but know i am not at my optimal dose yet and trying to figure out why i cant utilize more thyroid. think MAYBE that pernicious anemia might be to blaim?? i am low b12 and have a low RBC, but i see you are not? or is your b12 just elevated in your serum levels, and not at storage level? not sure how to tell or if thats even possible i also had iron labs done over a month ago and my tibc was normal, my uibc was very low, my iron very high, and my saturation very high... a pattern which i guess indicates iron poisoning. i also retested this to be sure and am awaiting the results. but i just thought it was curious, as low iron does not seem to be causing your low tsh, nor mine, so high iron to blame? or low b12? anyway sorry to ramble, hope you can get more input -alexis > > I will get the iron rechecked. > > My bigger question was regarding the Thyroid panel - I'm starting to feel good and wanted the groups opinion. Is it time to start decreasing the HC? Is there a concern with the low T4? > >
