Guest guest
Hi Jim and Nick I also have been wondering about this prospect. I was hoping that there may be a natural substance or supplement that could have the effect of clearing the RT3 and assisting the ultimate conversion of T4 to T3. Even if it takes a little longer. This might be suitable for those amongst us who at this stage are not taking any form of Thyroid meds. Does anyone know of any past successes this way? Guest guest
I am confused. Is Cytomel a bioidentical hormone. I thought that was synthetic. > Hi Jim and Nick > I also have been wondering about this prospect. Guest guest
Cytomel, aka liothyronine, though synthesized in a lab, is biochemically identical to the t3 produced in the body, therefore, it is considered a bioidentical hormone. Re: Re: Is there any other way to lower your Reverse T3 levels without taking T3? I am confused. Is Cytomel a bioidentical hormone. I thought that was synthetic. Guest guest
Yes, I think you are confusing " natural " , like Armour from pigs, with " bio-identical " which is idencial to what our bodies make regardless of whether it's made in a lab or whatever. Armour is NOT bio-identical, although some people think it is because it's " natural. " The two concepts are not the same. Kathleen
