Guest guest
Hi Suzanne, I can tell you that I've been taking 800 to 1200 mg of magnesium daily and my serum levels are always slightly above range, but my RBC magnesium (cellular level) was at the bottom of the range! I do buy high quality supplements so because of this RBC result, I've decided to get the Ancient Minerals topical magnesium. However, one option might be to try the Albion chelated magnesium bisglycinate. It's molecularly bound to glycine so the absorption is exellent. (It's even patented.) Bluebonnet and Doctor's best both sell, both of which you can get for get prices at. www.iherb.com If you have never taken magnesium, don't go over 400 for a while or you may end up with some bowel disturbances. But I would strive to get to at least 800 if not 1000 and then test again in a month or so after you get to that dose. Or you could just try the topical, too. Some people say it's expensive but it's only $28 a bottle and I don't think you have to use that much. Guest guest
I raised my RBC magnesium with the topical when NOTHING else worked. > > > > what is a good dose of magnesium for someone who's test results showed low end of normal? thanks,s > > >
