Guest guest
Yes and this particular study is the one that MOST doctors have seen and believe that Rt3 is GOOD for us in that we NEED it to slow metabilism whne ill. However what they are not taking into acount is WHY our bodies developed this trait., Back in the Hunter gatherer times, if we were ill we count not hunt nor gather thus we dies of starvation when we got ill, The means the body developed to save us was RT3. Thus when ill and unable ot hunt/gather, we slowed our metabolisms ot near hibernationstates so we did nto burn calories. NOW when we have food available even when ill, deathly ill even the Rt3 becomes unnecessary but actually damaging as it can slow recovery and healing. And yes cause death due to that lowered metabolism. Our lives are MUCH more sophisticated these days than when we developed RT3,. And we also live longer, and will live longer STIOLL when the medical profession realizes we don;t NEED Rt3 any lniger. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ > This one is older but still intersting. It says that the state when rt3 is high and t3 is low cam explain some illnesses. And it suggests that the condition when t4 becomes more rt3 and less t3 is somekind of defence mechanism of the body, inorder to avoid over-metabolism. > > Okay, I better give 'google scholar' a rest now... :-) > > > > > > > ------------------------------------ > > We are not medical professionals here, just patients sharing our experiences.
