Guest guest
hi, I'm seeing my doctor on MOnday and I know I 'm going to have a debate on my hands. I've printed off everything appropriate from Holtorf Med and in the files section here but what I'm wondering is if there is a reference for the high FT4 as a marker for RT3 problems (in the absence of RT3 testing which I can't get up here) I started to self treat based on 2 sets of labs wherein FT4 was high (1.6 no meds and 1.88 2 grains ERFA) and FT3 was in bottom 1/3 of range when on no meds. Since my last blood draw (which Val verified things were proceeding normally) I've been told from 1 doctor that I'm " using T3 as a stimulant " , direct quote and yesterday the endo called to tell me I am irreparably harming myself because I'm suppressing TSH. my GP is a wonderful family doctor, I need him to help me with IR and don't want him caught up in the TSH issue. Is there anything out there that discusses the FT4 as a marker?
Guest guest
This might help, it's in the " files " section: " RT3 study: higher FT4 and rT3...associated with lower physical function " Thanks to Ariela for this. > > hi, > I'm seeing my doctor on MOnday and I know I 'm going to have a debate on my hands.
