My son just got his DOC Band on Friday and they told me that they no

longer do casting. They use that stocking and put it over there head

and they take pictures of him and they made a 3-d imiage of his head

and that is how they made his band. I was so glad they no longer did

the castings cuz he is a very very busy 11 month old.

Yep, pretty soon all Cranial Techs will have the scanner, but they

haven't been rolled out to every location yet. Unfortunately, we had

to do the traditional cast because Charlotte doesn't have theirs

yet, but it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. It only

took 10 minutes. I'm not sure how long it will take for all CTs to

get the scanner, but hopefully it will be soon.

Oh really! That's awesome! I had called a few weeks ago to ask and

all the girl could tell me was that they were 3rd or 4th in line and

didn't give me an exact date. Thanks for the info!
