Guest guest
Does the helmet work as a bike helmet? Or would you have to put a bike helmet on top? Would it fit? I know you have to wear the helmet 23 hours a day. What would happen exactly if some days it was only 18? Does the helmet affect their balance? (ie is it heavy?) Thanks so much in advance ....Kay
Guest guest
The helmet is not heavy - My dd adjusted well in that respect. I don;t think a bike helet would fit over it... but it is not made to "protect" like a bike helmet would. I am not sure what you would do in that situation... is your baby in a bike helmet alot? If the baby only wears it 18 hours a day you may miss a growth time - and would not see as much correction as you would if they were wearing it 23 hours a day. Also, the more the baby does not wear it - the more they will not be used to wearing it. Consistancy is very important - Not only to catch the growth but also for the baby to know that this is the norm and thye won;t fight it as much. HTH!
