Guest guest
> > My compounding pharamicist has recommended using 10 mcg capsules morning and night for 1 month and then adjusting from there according to symptons. What is the general feeling on this forum of this approach? I am working on raising my iron ferittin levels up before I am in a position to start what ever regime I am going to start so I am just trying to work out my next step in this process. > I have been using compounded SRT3 for 11 weeks. I started on 10mcg (my ferritin was 50 by this time) twice a day. This is quite a small dose of SRt3 which is not nearly as potent as straight T3. I moved up to 10mcg three times a day after a week as dosing SRT3 seems to work better for a lot of people three times a day. This worked for me but everyone is different. I then increased each dose by 10mcg at weekly intervals. So my regimen looked a bit like this: 10, 10 10, 10, 10 20, 10, 10 20, 20, 10 20, 20, 20 etc. Now I am 40, 30, 30 Sometimes if I felt good I would increase after 5 days and other times I would wait longer than a week. Keep an eye on your temps and pulse and increase accordingly. This is just how it works for me, others may have another way of doing it. Good luck Kat
