Guest guest
Hello, I remember someone posting a long post with a great explanation of all the measurements that are taken when our children are evaluated for plagio or brachy. I forgot who sent it out and I must have erased it. Can that person please resend that explanation if you still have it? Anyone else have input on the measurements. My son has cephalic index 82.7 (.72 standard deviation), cranial vault asymmetry 15mm (this one I know), mid-face asymmetry 8mm, and skull-base asymmetry 5mm. One more question, my son tilts his head slightly to the left sometimes so the orthotist game me some stretches to do but only when I see him tilting. He only does it sometimes and it is to the left but his plagio is on the back right. Weird because I thought the tightness in his neck muscles would correspond with his plagio. The orthotist said that it is not torticollis because that is much more severe, this just is a tight muscle that comes and goes. Anyone else experience this? Thanks, Sybil You rock.
