Guest guest Posted March 4, 2008 Report Share Posted March 4, 2008 hello. i also have medicaid, i was very nervous that they were going to deni us because they are very funny about " cosmetic " stuff, they will not pay for cercumcision because it is cosmetic anyway we had no problem at all getting the aproval they just needed documentation from our doctor. maybe it is diffrent in utah. i am sure that you can appeal. you can also get a represenative that can help with the paper work. hope this help. cassie, elsinore utah brody-3/ gabbie 4.5 months(right plagio and left tort) picking up helmet 3/12/08 > > Hello everyone. It is important to remind some of these insurance companies that this is NOT a cosmetic issue. A cosmetic procedure takes something that is normal and improves upon it. The banding takes something that is ABNORMAL and returns it to a NORMAL condition. I can't understand for the life of me why the insurance companies do not see this! Thanks!
