Guest guest
My daughter is wearing a hanger band and has for 2 1/2 months now. She didn't mind the band much at all in the beginning. She didn't like us taking it off or putting it back on and so we decided to start the 23 hour wearing schedule on her 3rd day in the helmet. She played a lot with the velcro strap; I would hear her in the middle of the night undoing the velcro over and over (we cut it so she couldn't do that anymore as it was driving me crazy). She slept fine with the helmet on and I didn't have to do anything to her bed to make her more comfortable. The only other thing she doesn't like too much is when I put a shirt on her that is a little tight and I have to tug to get it over the helmet. So I try to have her wear button ups or shirts that will go on easily. Since she is a little older now (10 months), I let her play with the helmet every day for a few minutes before putting it back on and she loves doing that. I scrub the band really good every night. I use baby wash or shampoo and found it to work great. I also put alcohol on every night. I dreaded her wearing the band very bad and it has turned out much better than I expected. She doesn't mind it and I am sure your son won't either. Good luck and I hope you get great results! Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Search.
