Guest guest
Hi Margery, Thanks for the support...yes, that is what it's about, isn't it? had suggested that I decrease HC, then I was terribly sick for several weeks and didn't. Nick also mentioned that I decrease it by 2.5 and see what happens, so I'm doing that today. If it goes well, then I'll add the 12.5 T3 he suggested as well. Thanks again! > > > > I feel like a pest, but after doing fairly well 9 weeks into RT3 clearance, I'm feeling really hypo again. I'm dosing T3 25mg morn, noon, mid afternoon, dinner for a total of 100. Last night, I added 5mg at bedtime and slept like a baby. Today I've had that hypo tired feeling and starting mid afternoon, legs swelling and hurting- which I haven't had in forever, tight throat and chest-like I can't get my breath. I've been drinking 1.5-2t sea salt in 32 oz water throughout the day, and am sooooo thirsty but it's really hot here! No weight loss yet, either, but I'm just starting to decrease the HC from 40mg a day. I'm nauseated with that weird tight sick feeling in my throat up my neck and into my ears...could this be too much cytomel and hc? > > > > Something is not right...maybe I'll feel better tomorrow... > > > > I've never, ever, ever been hyper and am not sure that's what this is... > > > > Thanks for any suggestions. > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Laughing....change of plans. I read and responded to Nick and Margery's post before I read yours. So... I WON " T be decreasing HC first, but will increase T3 and see how it goes..then in a few days, decrease HC by 2.5. Thanks so much. I'll keep you posted. > > Hi , > > Yeah, I think the nightowl thing for me was definitely a cortisol symptom that I never knew about. I feel a LOT better since getting up early and starting the HC early. It has totally changed my ryhthm and now I can go to bed at early as 10:30 or 11. And that's early for me, believe me! LOL > > If you're not wired, likely your cortisol is not low and your t3 is not high. You MAY be on a bit too much HC, especially later in the day, which is making you stay up later. You might want to post your dosing schedule on the adrenal boards. But as Nick said, don't try to reduce right now if you're going to raise the t3. You night need that extra HC anyway for a few days with the t3 raise. > > Nick advised to increase and your symptoms sound sort of hypo to me, also your temps, too, so maybe that's a good thng to do -- increae the t3. Feeling it wear off is a good sign you're not on enough. I was told that if you feel it wear off like that, you don't have enough in your bloodsteam, especially if you weren't feeling it wear off before. > > Hope you feel fetter soon! > > Kathleen > > > > You could be hypo still, 100 is not an enormous dose. > > > > > > if pulse/temperature are OK you can try and extra 12.5, the effect > > > will stabilise after 3 days and wear off quickly if it's too much. > > > > > > 40 of HC may be too much, see what happens when you drop by 2.5. > > > > > > Try one thing at a time though. > > > > > > Nick > > > > > > -- > > > > > > for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to > > > > > > www.thyroid-rt3.com > > > > > >
