Guest guest
HI All,I recently tested B12. It just came back and the nurse called to give me the results orally. It was at 404 (units?) and she says the doctor prefers to see it at 600 -800. Any recommendations how much B12 I should take and any preferred brands? Thanks so much!Best,Tara
Guest guest
I don't think brand matters as much as tyoe., Methylcobalamin and subkingual are the important things ot look for, I use Puritain Pride for this and mine is over 1000 so I knwo it si working. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://artisticgrooming.net/ HI All, I recently tested B12. Guest guest
Hi Tara: I take 10,000 mcg b12 a day. Like Val said, taking it sublingually is particularly important for good absorption. My dose is high, but I'd rather be too high in b12 than too low; and I understand that any excess that the body can't use is just excreted in the urine. > > HI All, > > I recently tested B12. Guest guest
Thanks so much, everyone. What about the shots? Will they increase it more quickly than the sublingual tablets? > > > > HI All, > > > > I recently tested B12. It just came back and the nurse called to give me > > the results orally.
