Finally have captured my temp. After many months of trying my body temperature crests at 98.6 and I average 98.4. I'm on 75mcg of T-3 and taking 30mg of HC. At first I felt fantastic but now I'm achy with occasional joint pain. Is this to be expected? I'm thinking that perhaps the body is detoxing.I ask because I did find a tick crawling on me. It wasn't attached or fat. I had Lyme before and dread to think I have it again.Here are my latest labs (as of two weeks ago):SALIVA (taken while on 15mb of HC as per doc - 8am 10mg, 12:00 5mg)0600-0800: 4 ( 13 - 24nm )1100-1200: 2 ( 5 - 10nm )1600-1700: 2 ( 3 - 8nm )2200-0000: 1 ( 1 - 4nm )DHEA 4 (3 - 10ng/ml)Testosterone Free 8.2 ( 6.8 - 21.5 pg/ml_Testosterone Serum 392 ( 280 - 800 ng/dl )Sodium 142 (135 - 145 mmol/L )Potassium 4.4 ( 3.5 - 5.2 )Calcium 9.1 (8.7 - 10.2 )Iron 96 ( 40 - 155 )Iron Saturation 30 ( 15 - 55 )Iron Bind. Your aldosteone is WAY low, and you high ferritin suggest oyu sitl have

inflammation as your iron labs do not confirm high iron. I would tend

ot oush BOTH HC and T3 up a bit higher from here.

Val, you quoted a couple of days ago, " Dr Holtorf says that % sat should be at

LEAST 35% and

not more than 45%. "

So isn't his iron too low? Achy is a low iron symptom, I think.

Val,

I've increased my HC to 10, 10, 5, 2.5. As for T3 I'll try going up to 90. As

for Aldosterone, how does one go about increasing that? I'm not finding much

using Google. By the way, my average temp dropped today; about .5 degree.

Thanks,

Rather than going the Florinef route, why not try Licorice root? It has

much of the mineraclorticoid activity that you need and is not nearly so

rough an adjustment. But you still shoudl get electrolyte panles at

least once a month and DO watch BP as it can raise it too much.
