Guest guest
I try to keep my b12 levels over 900. If I remember correctly, Val keeps hers at about 1000. My goal for b12 is always too high rather than too low, as too low can cause neurological damage, and too high just gets excreted in the urine. I'd rather flush a little away and stay on the safe side with this one. Once again lab " normal " ranges are apparently " average " ranges rather than " healthy " ranges. My lab's " normal " ranges are 200 - 900, but in my opinion this is wrong: Deficiency: " Older adults with vitamin B12 levels between 200 and 500 pg/mL may also have symptoms. " from http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/003705.htm I believe anything under 500 at any age is too low and will cause health problems. > > > > HI All, > > > > I recently tested B12.
