Guest guest
98.6 is the goal average DAYTIME temp. Basal temps are supposed to be lower than daytimes. Val's posted her temps, " Val's go like this when she not hypo and is functioning well * 5AM 98.2 * 10am 98.4 * 2PM 98.6 * 6PM 98.8-99 * 8PM 98.4 * 10PM 98.2 " From: http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/temperat.htm > > > > > When clearence happens, and we are on a high dose of t3, will > our basal temp also be elavated? Guest guest
I'm feeling really dense here..... what is the difference between daytime/basal temps?? Is the basal the average but that can't be because I thought the basal average was suppose to be 98.6. Sorry still not understanding the difference between daytime temps and basal and I have been doing this for a while now. I guess I never heard it stated this way and it is confusing me. Especially when you say basal is suppose to be lower than daytime temps????VeniziaSubject: Re: BASAL / vs. daytime tempsTo: RT3_T3 Date: Monday, June 28, 2010, 3:06 PM 98.6 is the goal average DAYTIME temp. Guest guest
Basal temps are when you take your temperature first thing in the morning before you've wiggled your big toe. Have your thermometer by the bed.Daytime temps are the averages of your temps taken 3, 6 and 9 hours later.AnnTo: RT3_T3 Sent: Mon, June 28, 2010 4:34:34 PMSubject: Re: Re: BASAL / vs. daytime temps I'm feeling really dense here..... what is the difference between daytime/basal temps??
