Guest guest
Hi everyone Could someone help me with a dosing question, please? My basal temps now seem pretty stable at 36.4/36.5. (I'm taking HC 30mgs) and I am taking 2 x Spatone Iron sachets (Iron not recently tested but Ferritin was 31 last year) I want to increase T3 again after having a nasty experience of T3 pooling a couple of months ago (due to low cortisol, I think). I increased to 37.5mcgs T3 yesterday but am a bit confused about the amount to take at each time (ie 7am/10am/1pm/4pm). Would it be 12.5/12.5/6.25/6.25 or 12.5/6.25/12.5/6.25 ? Also, I'm being a bit thick I think, in that I'm not sure from Nick's (brilliant!) website whether I should look to increase at 3-5 days or 5-7 days, and by 6.25 or 12.5 each time? Could someone help my foggy brain, please? Thanks, Liesha xx

Guest guest
12.5/6.25/12.5/6.25 Thsi would be the better dosing pattern. You need ot keep the T3 a even throughout the day and night as possible. It won;t be perfectly even all th eitme but this is what we strive for. The timing of increasses depends on your adrenal status and iron status. As you have not had iron tested in a year, you need to get updated labs as it si vital to get good iroin levels fo rthe T3 to not pool and to be able to work well for you. You DO have to stop iron supplements for at leats 5 days before testing to get accurate results and you shoudl avoid high iron foods during that time as well. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://artisticgrooming.net/ > 12.5/6.25/12.5/6.25 ? > >
Guest guest
Pulse depends on age and physical condition. most of us are in the 40-50-range and a few in 30's and 60's. Generally the younger and more physically fit you are the lower your noirmla pulse shoudl be. Older more sedentary folks will have a higher pulse naturally. So if oyu are 30 wiht a pulse in the 90's it is to ohigh, but if oyu are 60 and sedentary, 80's to 90's can be very normal for you. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://artisticgrooming.net/ > > Sorry, should've added, my pulse ranges between 64 & 73, usually. > > Liesha > xx > > > >> Hi everyone >> >> Could someone help me with a dosing question, please? >> >> My basal temps now seem pretty stable at 36.4/36.5. Guest guest
Thanks for your help, Val. As my adrenals seem stable and if my iron/ferritin was ok when I get tested, how often & by how much T3 would I be looking to increase? Thanks Liesha xx > > 12.5/6.25/12.5/6.25 Thsi would be the better dosing pattern. You need ot keep the T3 a even throughout the day and night as possible.
