Your iron is GOOD. I would reduce supplemnets WAY down at this point as

your saturation is over recommended levels adn serum iron is highish.

Your T3 is pretty good but wil need to come up as you need over range

FT3 when on T3 onyl to compensate for supressed T4 levels.

Val - thanks! That is GREAT news on the iron. I will drop it down to 85mg IE

per day (unless 42.5 would be better?). I don't want to lose a decent ferritin

level after working so hard to get it up. It does make me feel better when I am

taking some.

I will keep raising T3 weekly. I think I can probably stand to take a little

more as the 12.5mcg every 4 hours seems to be " wearing off " sooner than I would

like (i.e. I start feeling a little hypo). Temps are averaging right around

98.5'ish and are stable so I am almost where I need to be, I think. I am

currently up to 68.75.

Any thoughts on electrolytes (p: 4.2, s: 140) or the low progesterone?

Thanks again!

I think 42.5 would be enough with your T3 where it is. The T3 will help

you hold onto that good level of iron. Yeah the wearing off symptoms

definitly indicates T3 is still too low as you buld to a better dose

those symptoms between doses stop happening. Your electrolytes look fine

btu mayebe bit of sea salt or more if you are already taking it as in

the summer heat we ALL need more. The progesterone you probvably shoudl

raise a bti btu dobe careful as it cna afect cortiosl and you don;t need

o trock the boat right now.

Great--thanks for letting me know about the iron, Val. (And can I say a big

WHOOHOO here!) It will save me a mint on iron supplements! How much

progesterone would you recommend? I have 100mg and 150mg caps and I can always

get cream as well. Use for first 2 weeks of the cycle starting the first day of

the period then off for 2 weeks?

One last thing...my pulse seems to me to be rather rapid. It ranges between 85

and 100--on the lower end when I have supplemented heavily with sea salt (2 t

per day or so). I am 43, 50 pounds overweight, and not terribly active for

about a year, although I am planning to start exercising again soon since my

adrenals seem to be shaping up. I worry a little about increasing T3 with a

rapid pulse. BP normal and stable, temps stable, basal 98'ish, daily average

98.5. I am in week 18 of T3 only but the first 14 weeks were SRT3. Any

suggestions?

I htink those mixed creams shoudl be outlawed! In the first place,

what if you react to ONE of them? You wil nto knwo which one and may

comclude you can't take any of them. What if you need to adjust ONE and

nto the other two?

Understood. So my blood labs were done and the doctor prescribed this mixed cream and wants to re-test levels in 3 mos. I woudl simply tell her you prefer them individually so you can start

them separately in case of a reaction.
