Guest guest
Hi - My son was diagnosed with tort when he was 2 months old, first by the pediatrician and then evaluated and treated by a PT. Does he have a checkup coming up? I would probably point it out to your ped first, who can refer you to a pediatric PT. Then the PT will assess the tort at your first appointment. I understand your concern though, my son wasn't a fan of the stretches and exercises when he was tiny and didn't know much else. I couldn't imagine doing it now that he's well over one year old. It might take longer on an older baby (my son was in PT for 2.5 months, I'm not sure if that's average or not). But you have to do what you have to do, he'll get used to it eventually and it will be worth it in the end. Good luck!
