Guest guest
The pharmacy filled my script for Cytomel and gave me generic Liothyronine T3. Is there a difference in strength? Thanks, Cheree
Guest guest
From what I have heard, the generic is weaker. But I have not taken it myself. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://artisticgrooming.net/ > The pharmacy filled my script for Cytomel and gave me generic Liothyronine T3. Guest guest
Is the brand name(cytomel) also on the bottle along with the Liothyronine T3? I had both names on my bottle and I called my pharmacist and asked if I had the generic. He said that I had the brand name drug. That was not good enough for me so I asked him which pharmaceutical company this came from. He gave the right answer which was "King" He told me they have to put both names on the bottle. Doesn't make sense to me but that was his answer as to why both names were on the bottle. There is only one company that makes cytomel. I would call your pharmacist and ask him where it came from. You may not have the generic...I didn't.VeniziaSubject: Cytomel Vs Liothyronine T3To: RT3_T3 Date: Tuesday, June 29, 2010, 3:44 PM The pharmacy filled my script for Cytomel and gave me generic Liothyronine T3.
