I am wondering if there is a way to know if your body is no longer making T4? I

have been really slow on increasing T3 because I feel " good enough " and am

fearful about crashing my adrenals. But, I just read a post that we wont be

able to clear blocked receptor sites unless we are on enough T3.

Empirically if you are on at least 50mcg a day you are unlikely to be

producing significant T4

Lab tests will also show it, a FT4 test should be well under range,

TSH around 0.01 or so.
