Guest guest
Was just reading the American Thyroid Association website, and conclude that they'd be happy to keep us hypo and sick for the rest of our lives. They appear to be firmly in the pocket of Big Pharma, or possibly even OWNED by Big Pharma. They advocate Synthroid. They perpetuate the lie that natural thyroid is unreliable (it used successfully for something like 50 years before Synthroid was introduced!). They said, and this is a direct quote, " The conversion of T4 to T3 is normal in hypothyroid patients " . (OK, if it's normal, why was my RT3 so high? Have you CHECKED my conversion?) from: http://www.thyroid.org/patients/patient_brochures/hormonetreatment.html It reads like one big Synthroid advertisement. They need to all sit down and read the StopTheThyroidMadness.com website for hours if not days. > > Hello, > > I have beeen on T3 only for 6 weeks. I think my adrenals have shut down as I have horrible energy during the day after having a very stressful weekend. I thought my adrenals were pretty stable, but now I am having second thoughts. Also I am concerned as I just read an article from the American Thyroid Association that discusses T3 only treatment. Because I feel so bad, I'm getting worried that I'm hurting myself somehow. My temperatures range from 95.5 first thing in the morning to 98.0 if I'm lucky around 5:00 pm. They average about 97.0. > > Yesterday after trying to figure out my energy issues, I decided to get some HC cream. I'm not sure how to dose this? I also was thinking of ordering some Isocort. Should I ween off T3 and start on some kind of adrenal support? > > Thank you, > > Beckey >

Guest guest
Val, I didn't want to be too graphic, but that's what I immediately thought of...this thyroid " info " is what almost killed Val. > > > >> Hello, > >> > >> I have beeen on T3 only for 6 weeks.
