Guest guest
I always took synthroid and now my body is rejecting it causing muscle and joint pains, weakness, fatigue, etc. Does anyone know why T4 to T3 conversion would stop? Not sure thats what I have but trying to figure it out.
Guest guest
My body stopped converting when Forest Labs changed their formula for Armour. I got sick as a dog until my rheumy discovered the RT3 because I asked him to include it in the thyroid testing. He started me on T3 only and I've been getting much better. <>Roni Immortality exists! Guest guest
I firmly believe T4 only causes adr4ena;l fatigue. The adrenals need ot pump out more cortils to keep matabolism normal and over time they get exhausted. Thsi high coritls of early adrenao fatigue is VERY hard on you body and includes creatign reverse T3. Generally the Rt3 is not felt at this poitn as the cortil is high enouhg ot keep metabolism pretty good, btu as the high cortil stakes it's toll and RT3 becomes higher, the metabolism starts to fail. Soon after the adrenals crash and can no longer maintain the highyh out put and the RT3 is already in place., and becomes worse as low cortils prevents the T3 you do have form reaching the cells. SO adrenaline is produced due ot the ho9rrid imbalance that ensues. I have not seen ANYONE that over time did not have problems form a T4 only medication. Many do not realise the issues are even caused by an incomplete thyroi d med but they are. I was one of those peole as my BP started ot climb an dmy heart became weaker they told me it was age, poor eating, and poor lifestyle. After I corrected htose things (except age) and it stil got worse I began loking elsewhere and started really learngin abotu thyroid. RT3 promoted itself! Once it is at a certian point your body CANNOT fix it. It got there as yoiur system wasin failure. TA that poitnit si end stage as far as your body is concerned and oyu are not able to hunt or gather, which is when this mechanism to protect us was developed. Animals tht hibernate have low T3 and high RT3 when in hibernation. It keeps them form starvation through the months they do not eat. However they have triggers that jump start their metabolism we do nto! Once we go into severe RT3 mode, we are dying. Our bodies perceive this as a way to exptend our lives as we cannot hunt in this condiiton. OS of course we need lower metabolism to prevent starvation, onyl in our time we do nto starve, we get fat as we cnnot burn caloried normally. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://artisticgrooming.net/ I always took synthroid and now my body is rejecting it causing muscle and joint pains, weakness, fatigue, etc. Does anyone know why T4 to T3 conversion would stop? Guest guest
I heard that any kind of stress can do it. Like major stressors. I was on Naturethroid, and all my t4 in it was converting to rt3. Stress can be physical or mental. Body sees it all as stress.
