Guest guest
For some odd reason about 2 hours ago my heart started beating really hard, like hard enough to actually hurt. Up until then I felt good all day, doing a little housework but not over doing myself. My temps are 98.7 avg today, yesterday a bit higher. My bp has been 121/74 pulse 71 morning, 124/82 pulse 82 afternoon and when my heart started pumping hard and felt pain across my chest (like when you run fast) my bp was 118/85 but pulse was running 100. I've laid down and tried relaxing but my heart keeps pounding...really strange for me. Taking 100 mcg T3 4x daily with 25 mg. HC. Guest guest
Can you count your pulse yourself? If your pulse is too irregular to count properly, it's possible you are having an atrial fibrillation (or even some other kind of fibrillation) episode. My cardio told me that magnesium is essential to the heart beating properly, so maybe you have some in the house. If you feel really bad I would think it a good idea to have someone take you to the ER to check your heart out, or call 911. The EMT's told me when you are having a heart problem not to wait. By the way, they also told me to chew 4 baby aspirins immediately. <>Roni Immortality exists! It's called knowledge! Guest guest
Yes, my daughter is a nurses aide, currently studying to be an EMT and she was here when it happened, she used a bp cuff and counted pulse so I'm sure it's fairly accurate. She also has one of those finger things that measures O2 and pulse, my O2 was 98% and pulse was right along with her own readings. I do take a mag supplement, doc put me on that a long time ago. Guest guest
This certainyl sounds liek a breakthrough btu it si VERY early to have this happenign now. Not sure you shoudl drop to 50 but maybe 75mcg and hold and DO monitor your pulse for a few days even if th immediate thing stops for now. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://faqhelp.webs.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ http://artisticgrooming.net/ For some odd reason about 2 hours ago my heart started beating really hard, like hard enough to actually hurt. Not that fast, have you tried a glass of sea salted water to see if that calms it down?? Low sodium can have strange effects >I've laid down and tried >relaxing but my heart keeps pounding...really strange for me. Taking >100 mcg T3 4x daily with 25 mg. HC. I hope you mean 100mcg a day split into 4 doses??? Guest guest
Thanks Val!! I broke up the pills this morning so will try 75 mcg and monitor pulse. So far I'm running 120/70 and have a decent amount of energy but will take it slow today. I thought breakthrough was a bit early too but I sure got a dose of T3 in those cells yesterday LOL. Hyper isn't fun but I can see I'm on the right road with T3 and getting RT3 cleared out. Have an awesome weekend and thank you for holding my hand on this;-)<<Posted by: " T" artisticgroomer@... valharlySat Jul 3, 2010 2:56 am (PDT)This certainyl sounds liek a breakthrough btu it si VERY early to have this happenign now.
