I got the call from the insurance coordinator at CT

Everything's been approved so she scheduled Elijah's casting for

Wednesday morning at 10:30. He'll get his band the 12th. Right now the

casting appt is what I'm dreading the most. After it's done and over

with I'm sure it'll be something else but the CT office isn't equipped

yet with the scanner so we have to cast the old fashioned way. While

I'm there I want to see if I can get 's second eval pushed up a

day so I won't have to bring them on 45min rides each way for 2 days

in a row. I'm keeping fingers and toes crossed that my little guy

remains as laid back during the casting as he is for anything else.

Bring toys that you can distract him with that won't be ruined by water/pasty stuff. My son was casted about a month ago and it didn't turn out to be as bad as I thought it would be. He never even cried. The orthotist make a hole big enough for him to see out of and big enough for his paci. We were good to go! Hope yours goes well too. Good luck.
