I echo everyone else who says "hang in there"!I had my stock response pretty much in place by the 3rd month, andjust as I got used to answering people's questions, Lily was (thankfully) done with her treatment.And I had just gotten the hang of it! LOLThe best questions came from some of the other kids in Lily's preschool who would see us in the halls or parking lot. Some were brave enough to ask - cautiously - why does she wear that? If it was a kid, I always said "That's a great question!" and my quick, simple response was "Lily has some flat spots on her head, and the doctor wants her to wear this to make her head nice and round like yours". I never had one child ask a follow-up to that - they got all the simple-level info they needed.Needless to say, if the response

was simple and suitable for bright, sweet children, it will do for ignorant moronic adults as well.Good luck!-ali in NJ
