My Intro, was: intro- hello everyone

Hi Tami I am new to the group too and decided I should probably

introduce myself! My name is Robin, 25 yrs. old, pregnant with first

child. I want to stay at home with my baby as long as possible once he

is born, but, we will have to see how that works out in the coming

year. My due date is December 9th, so, I am officially 37 weeks today

(I can't believe he is almost here!!) I plan to b/f exclusively until

he starts solids...and then continue until 18 months. I have taken a

b/f course, read a couple of books, read every possible magazine or

brochure article I could find, and have also looked into my local

LaLeche League for meeting times. I currently live with my parents.

My mother did not b/f and noone in my family has b/f, so, I am going at

this alone. I know that I am going to need a lot of support...that is

why I joined this list. I have heard that once you make it through

those first few weeks, things get better...so, I am ready for the

challenge

I look forward to getting to know everyone
